Account & Subscription

From sign-in and subscription updates to switching devices, start by checking that you’re using the right account and configuration.

What information do I need to create an account? What should I check if I can’t log in?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password, and keep both safe. Use the same account to access your subscription, view orders, and submit support tickets. If you can’t log in, check your keyboard input, capitalization, and any spaces copied along with your credentials. Make sure you’re on the VPNDV user dashboard, not a client’s configuration page. A client subscription link cannot be used as your password. If you still can’t log in, follow the recovery options shown on the dashboard. If you’re still logged in on another device, submit a support ticket there. Include the error message and what you tried, but never share your password or full subscription link.

Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I update the route list?

Sign in to the user dashboard, check your subscription status in the account overview, and use the subscription option provided there to get your link. Import the link into your client, then find the update subscription option in its routes or configuration settings. Wait for the list to refresh, then select a route to connect. If the subscription address on the dashboard has changed, edit the address in your existing configuration or import it again, and make sure you’re using the updated configuration. Switching routes in the client alone won’t update the subscription address. If the update fails, check that your device can access the dashboard and that your plan is active, then make sure the copied link is complete. Your subscription link is tied to account access, so keep it private and don’t share it in public screenshots or forums.

Do I need to choose a new plan when I switch devices? Which platforms are supported?

VPNDV supports unlimited simultaneous devices and works with Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. To switch devices, sign in to the user dashboard with your existing account, download the client for your platform, and import your subscription using the guide. You don’t need to choose a new plan just because you’ve changed devices. First check that your current plan is still active and review the remaining data shown on the dashboard. Unlimited devices refers to the number of devices supported; it doesn’t mean each device gets a separate data allowance. When you stop using an old device, remove its saved subscription configuration to prevent further data use. If you give the device to someone else, sign out and clear any saved login details.

When does my data reset, and what should I do if the client and dashboard show different amounts?

Monthly plan data resets each month on the date you activated the plan, not at the start of the calendar month. Data packages remain valid until used and never expire. Check your current plan and data balance on the user dashboard, and make sure you’re viewing the same account and subscription in both places. Your client may still show subscription details from its last update; update the subscription, then reopen the configuration details to check again. Don’t repeatedly import the link or make another payment just because the display hasn’t refreshed. If the dashboard and client still show a significant difference, submit a ticket with your plan type, when the issue occurred, and the message displayed. Include a screenshot with sensitive information obscured so support can investigate.

Connection Issues

Separate basic network problems from client routing and app-specific issues, and keep track of each test result.

The import succeeded, but I can’t connect. What should I check, and in what order?

A successful import only means the client read the configuration; it doesn’t confirm that a route is connected. Disconnect the client and check that your device’s regular network can access common websites. Once the basic connection is working, check your plan status and remaining data on the dashboard. Then update the subscription, select a route from your current configuration, and check whether the client’s proxy or required network routing settings are enabled. If you’re running another proxy tool, quit it first to prevent settings from conflicting. Try another route in the same region, then routes in other regions, to tell whether the issue is with one route or your local connection. If it still fails, note the client’s error message and the step where the failure occurred. Don’t delete all your configurations, since they may help with troubleshooting.

Why does my browser work, but a particular app doesn’t use the proxy?

Different apps may use different network paths. If a page opens in your browser, that only confirms the browser’s current connection is working; it doesn’t mean other apps are using the system proxy. Check whether the client is in rule mode or another mode, and confirm that the target app or domain is routed through the proxy. Then fully quit and reopen the app so it doesn’t reuse an old connection. Some apps require the client to take over network traffic; check the instructions for your platform’s client and avoid enabling every system setting at once. If switching modes fixes the issue, check how the rules match the app. If it still doesn’t work, check the app’s account region, service status, and permission messages before assuming the route is at fault.

The website’s region didn’t change after I switched routes. How can I confirm the connection is working?

First, make sure the client shows that the route has changed. Then use the network check page on our site to review your current exit information. The result shows the network path used by your browser when the test ran; it doesn’t prove that every app is using the proxy. A website’s displayed region may also depend on your account region, cache, login session, or location permissions, so don’t rely on the page language alone. Sign out of the site, close its pages, and reopen it. Then check whether the client’s rules route that site through your selected route. If the exit region has changed but the website content hasn’t, check the platform’s account and content rules. If the exit region is unchanged, troubleshoot the client’s network routing settings and rule matching.

What information should I include in a support ticket when something goes wrong?

Sign in to the user dashboard and describe the issue through the support ticket option. Include your device platform, the client version shown in its settings, your network environment, the app you’re trying to use, the selected route region, when the issue occurred, and the exact error message. Also say whether your regular connection works, whether the subscription updated successfully, and whether switching routes made a difference. This helps narrow down the cause. Hide your password, full subscription link, sensitive payment details, and personal content in screenshots. Check logs for account credentials before sharing them. Add follow-up test results to the original ticket to keep the context together. Never give someone else access to your account just to explain an issue.

Speed & Routes

Choose a route for your destination and the apps you use. Data allowances, route names, and speed tests aren’t performance guarantees.

Videos buffer during peak hours. Should I switch routes or change plans first?

Check the connection path before deciding whether to change plans. Video buffering can be caused by your local Wi-Fi, congestion on international routes, the selected route, or the platform’s content delivery path. A larger data allowance doesn’t automatically mean smoother playback. Pause data-heavy tasks on other devices, then try another route in the same region without changing your network conditions. If playback improves, try another suitable region to see whether the issue is limited to the current exit. Test the same content at the same resolution so differences in the source aren’t mistaken for route problems. If the issue keeps recurring only during peak hours, include the time and comparison results in a support ticket. Choose a plan based on your actual data needs; upgrading isn’t a substitute for troubleshooting.

How should I choose between IEPL, relay, and direct routes?

Route types describe how a connection is made, but the name alone doesn’t tell you how it will perform. IEPL typically refers to a dedicated transport link, relay routes pass through an intermediate node, and direct routes connect more directly to the exit. Your experience still depends on your local network, access region, time of day, and the service you’re using. Check the routes currently available on the dashboard and test them with your client. For streaming, choose a route that matches the target region. For everyday browsing, compare page response times and connection stability. VPNDV international routes cover 120+ countries / 230+ routes, but that doesn’t mean every route offers the same capabilities. Dedicated IP is a term you may encounter when comparing routes; a route’s name alone doesn’t mean a plan includes a dedicated IP.

A streaming service or AI tool says its region isn’t supported. Does that always mean the route is faulty?

Not necessarily. Streaming services and AI tools may consider the exit region, IP identification, account region, payment region, and session status. Check which regions the service currently supports, choose an appropriate exit, and confirm that the app is actually using that route. After switching routes, reopen the service and, if needed, sign out and back in to reduce cache-related issues. If a network check shows the expected exit region but the service still reports a restriction, check the platform’s official guidance and your account status instead of repeatedly changing plans. Route labels are only a guide; they aren’t a promise of permanent access across all platforms and accounts. For streaming issues, see our complete guide to streaming access. For tool access issues, submit the exact message and the tests you’ve tried.

How can I compare route performance, and why can a fast speed test still feel slow?

To compare routes, test the same service on the same device and network at similar times. Check page load times, playback stability, or how long tasks take to finish. Speed test sites may use different servers and network paths from the apps you actually use, so their results only show part of the picture and can’t replace real-world testing. Background syncing, downloads, and changes in Wi-Fi signal can also affect results; pause these before testing. If speed tests look normal but one app remains slow, check its rules, selected exit, and service status. If several apps are affected, check your local network and route. Include your test conditions and observations in a support ticket; they’re more useful than a single speed test screenshot.

Billing & Refunds

Check pricing, reset rules, and order status before taking action. Handle payment and refund questions through a support ticket on the original account.

How much do monthly plans and data packages cost, and which one suits my needs?

Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB · ¥18/month for 250GB · ¥28/month for 500GB; data packages: ¥158 for 300GB · ¥358 for 1000GB · ¥658 for 3000GB. Monthly plan data resets each month on the activation date, making it suitable for regular use with a monthly data allowance. Data packages remain valid until used and never expire, making them suitable if you prefer to track cumulative usage. Check which apps you use and your data history on the dashboard before deciding which billing option fits. Never-expiring data doesn’t mean unlimited data, and unused data on a monthly plan doesn’t automatically roll over. See the plans page for full pricing and billing details, and check the plan shown on the user dashboard before placing an order.

What happens if I upgrade partway through a plan? Will my data be recalculated?

If you upgrade a monthly plan partway through its term, the price difference is converted into the remaining days. Data resets monthly on the activation date. Before upgrading, check your current plan status and review the order details and adjustments shown on the user dashboard. A prorated price difference doesn’t give you a new full billing period, and it doesn’t mean existing data records will be cleared or extra data added. Your account status is determined by what the dashboard shows. If you have questions about the expiry date or data shown after upgrading, keep the details of both orders and ask support to verify them in a ticket before taking further action. Don’t submit repeated upgrade orders to try to correct a display issue. If your data needs are growing over time, compare plan options using your usage history before deciding whether to switch.

Which payment methods are supported, and what should I do if my order doesn’t update after payment?

We accept Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Start the order process from the user dashboard, use the payment option shown for your current order, and follow the on-screen instructions. If the order status hasn’t updated after payment, return to the order page and refresh it. Make sure you’re signed in to the correct account and viewing the right order. Don’t pay again just because the status hasn’t updated yet, and don’t transfer money to external payment details unless they’re confirmed on the dashboard. If the payment receipt and order status still don’t match, submit a ticket with the order ID, payment method, and a screenshot of the payment result with sensitive information hidden. For USDT payments, carefully check the network and payment details shown on the order page. Follow the instructions for that specific order.

How do I request a refund, and what information should I provide?

VPNDV offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the account used to purchase the plan and submit a refund request through the support ticket option on the user dashboard. Include the order you want refunded and your payment method. You can describe how you’ve been using the service to help support distinguish a refund request from a connection issue; a no-questions-asked refund doesn’t require you to prove that a route is faulty. Read the full refund rules in the Terms of Service before submitting to check eligibility and requirements. Never include your password or full subscription link in a ticket. Refund progress depends on the support response and the payment provider’s actual processing; this page doesn’t promise a specific processing time. Add any follow-up information to the original ticket so the request can be reviewed in context.
